Jackie Strydom is a rural Missouri native who fell in love with country life.  Jackie is a woman of many talents. She grew up on an 80-acre farm in central Missouri on the edge of the Mark Twain Natural Forest.  She has traveled across the United States photographing the culture and history of this great nation.

Mother to four children: one son and three daughters. Grandmother to 1 grandson and 2 granddaughters. A proud military mother of a United States Airforce Master Sergeant. Photography has always been her first love and allowed her to deeply appreciate the beauty that surrounds us all—inspiring her artistic creativity.  This has further developed into designing each unique one-of-a-kind piece of American Western hand-painted furniture.

Jackie Strydom established The Painted Pinto in December of 2019, after years of designing for homeowners across the country. Jackie's designs reflect her deep love for color, pattern, texture, and southwest design. She continues to create beautiful pieces with an authentic western flavor at her studio in rural El Dorado Springs Missouri.
